How does providing services on Swipr work?+
Customers book a service through the Swipr app or website. Swipr matches the booking to pros in the area based on the service type and availability. You accept jobs that fit your schedule, complete the work, and get paid weekly via direct deposit.
Where is Swipr available?+
Swipr is launching across the Greater Toronto Area first — Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, and the surrounding municipalities. We'll expand from there.
How long until I can start earning?+
Once you join the waitlist, we'll reach out the moment onboarding opens in your area. Most pros complete the background check and document upload within a few days. As soon as you're verified, you can start accepting jobs the same week.
How do payments and payouts work?+
Customers pay through Swipr at the time of booking. We hold the funds and release payment to you weekly via direct deposit. Tips are 100% yours, on top of the booking total.
What's the platform fee?+
Swipr's commission is capped at 15% of the customer's pre-tax payment. You see the exact payout for every job before you accept it — no hidden fees, no surge cuts, no lead charges.
How does Swipr handle insurance and liability?+
Swipr carries up to $2M in liability coverage per booking, on top of your own provider insurance. If something goes wrong on a job, we have a dispute resolution team and a coverage policy in place to protect both you and the customer.
What's the background-check process?+
We use Certn, a Canadian background-check provider. They run an identity verification and criminal history check. Most checks complete within 24 to 48 hours. If anything flags, you can dispute it directly through Certn's portal before we make a decision.
How do I check my application status?+
Once you're on the waitlist, we'll text and email you when there's an update. After you start onboarding, you'll see a live checklist in the Pro app showing exactly which steps are complete and what's left.
